Executive Committee

Daniela Hofmann, Chairman

Born in Regensburg, she has been involved in various associations and working groups for many years, some of them in functional positions such as the Central Council of Oriental Christians in Germany or "Project Peacemaker e.V.", of which she is Vice Chairman. However, these also include the Foreign and Security Policy Working Group of the CSU, the Working Group on Integration and Migration, the Society for Security Policy, the German United Nations Society, the Women's Association in the Federation of Expellees or the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft in Bavaria.

Human rights / women's rights are particularly close to her heart. When the United Nations was founded in 1945, gender equality was recognized by the community of states and included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 as a principle of non-discrimination based on gender. Together with the two human rights covenants of 1966, they form the "International Charter of Human Rights", which, through a large number of special conventions, either further concretize an individual human right or protect the legal status of certain groups of persons exposed to particular risks.

Nevertheless, cultural and religious minorities are repeatedly oppressed, persecuted and exterminated. And time and again it is women and children who suffer most.

It is her goal to point out these grievances and to demand the rights of women, regardless of their religion or ethnicity

Christa Dureder, Assessor

born 1964 in Munich

Already during my training I was active in refugee aid and therefore began to actively support human rights, especially the rights of women and girls.

Violence against women and girls is a severe violation of human rights. It is very important to me that women and girls have the same rights and chances of fulfillment as men
